Kristin Bowers is an independent mobile Western and English saddle fitter serving the greater Idaho Treasure Valley (Boise, Meridian, Nampa, Eagle, Caldwell, Kuna, Star, Middleton, up through Emmett, across between Ontario and Mountain Home) who uses various methods of obtaining and verifying ideal saddle measurements utilizing equine anatomy, rider fit, saddle fit, and horse fit in both static and dynamic settings.

​​Clients get copies of all videos/photos/reports/review notes resulting from your saddle fitting appointment. Fitting locations outside of the greater Treasure Valley include a travel fee.​

Kristin started her professional equine career working as a wrangler on high-end working cattle and guest ranch, The Alisal, in Solvang, California. During college she worked at Jedlicka's Saddlery, an almost 100 year old tack shop, and as a working student for her trainer. After several years in corporate professional services, she opened a lesson program at her home farm in Oregon. Navigating 42 students a week, seven lesson horses, and a host of saddles, her interest in saddle fitting deepened and evolved toward more formalized training. A lifelong learner, Kristin started her saddle fit learning with Saddlefit4Life and has expanded to continued training under a master saddler, self-directed learning, and continuing education programs whenever and wherever she can find them across the US.
